The auditorium of "Jameos del Agua" is the most emblematic and singular of all the cultural interest spots on the island. Great artistic performances take place there. It is a volcanic grotto conditioned for the purpose of holding theatrical and musical activities specially those that inmerse the audience in the atmosphere that chracterizes tje island. The "Lanzarote Festival of Visual Music", considered the most important world event dedicated to new music, or the "Nationalities Theatre Festival", are some of the events of the highest order thst take place in it.
