It is the central part, and the highest of the National Park of Timanfaya. Among the most important points Montaña de Fuego, Montaña Timanfaya and the Island of Hilario (where the restaurant is located) are included. It represents the fourth eruptive phase of the whole complex starting from 1732. Island of Hilario is the only sample of old materials.
