Rural Tourism in Lanzarote

Rural hotels provide an alternative way of getting to know the island its culture and its people. Ther are only a few rural hotels dotted about the countryside which are memberes of the rural Turismo Association.

To encourage restoration of existing rural homesteads, the Association insisit that all member hotel must be at least 50 years oll which excludes new buildings even if they are buikt in the traditional architecture style.

There is much more to the countryside hotels than just accommodation hotels than just accomodation. for thet also offer a range of complementary activities such as horse-riding, cycling, country walks and of course, the have fine restaurants offering local cuisine.
